Training Programs

Evolution is a proven training program.  Having developed numerous Pros, over 200 College Players, and thousands of High School stars, we have what it takes to get YOU to the next level!

Our Training Programs are designed for players who are 6th-8th Grade with Travel or AAU experience and all players 9th grade and older.  If you are younger or less experienced, please see Clinics, Camps, or Team Evolution.

Our Training Programs have 3 main areas of focus you can choose from: 

Basketball Skills Training 

Our Basketball Skills Training is done in a Small Group and in special circumstances we offer Private Training.  All of our 200+ College Players trained in competitive Small Groups… it works!

Basketball Shooting Training 

Evolution has developed some of the best shooters in the entire country.  We’re not exaggerating,  John Schoof led the NCAA in in 3 point shooting percentage in 2013! Please Note: Shooting Training DOES NOT run during the Fall Season (Preseason Prep).

Basketball Performance Training 

Our Performance Training is built on three main principles, 1) Flexibilty and Mobility 2) Speed and Agility 3) Power and Strength.  In today’s game, basketball skills is not enough to compete.

Group/Team Discount Information

  • Preseason Prep is the absolute best way to get players prepared for the upcoming season with 2 or more training sessions per week.  Each player will have:

    • One weekday workout focusing on individual skills (1 hr)

      • Weekday Individual Skills workouts are in small groups of approximately 5 players where we focus on position specific skills.

    • One weekend workout focusing on team based skills (1.5 hrs)

      • Weekend Team Skills workouts are in groups of 10-12, similar to a team practice, so we can focus on team concepts and have live play.

    • You can add Performance Training (Speed, Agility, & Strength) for $20/hr. Choose once or twice a week giving you up to 4 workouts a week.

Group/Team Discount Information

  • Option 1: Preseason Prep Program – 2 total sessions each week.  One during the week and one weekend session. $585

  • Option 2: Preseason Prep + 1 Performance Session – 3 total sessions each week.  One skills session during the week and one skills session on the weekend.  Plus one Performance Training session each week. $750

  • Option 3: Preseason Prep + 2 Performance Sessions – 4 total sessions each week.  One skills session during the week and one skills session on the weekend.  Plus 2 Performance Training session each week. $915

Can I do Group or Private Shooting Training in the fall?  We do not offer Shooting Training during the fall for a very specific reason.  It is our feeling that we should not be changing players shots right before the start of the season and before tryouts.  During the fall you should focus on shooting repetition which is something we do a tremendous amount of in our Preseason Prep groups.  If you want to change your shot, that’s something we should begin doing immediately after the season ends.

The Preseason Prep schedule is not preset. During the registration process, you will provide us with available times & days which will help us create extremely competitive groups while providing the most convenient schedule possible.

Upcoming Training Season 

Winter Training
Boys & Girls from 5th-12th Grades

Our Small Group Training has 3 areas of focus:

  • Skills Training  During our Skills Training sessions we focus heavily on general skills that every player needs such as ball handling, footwork, finishing, shooting, passing, etc.  The groups are fast paced, exciting, and push players to find their potential.

  • Shooting Training
    Evolution is the leader in shooting instruction.  Our players have achieved incredible success shooting the ball including leading the NCAA in 3 point shooting % (John Schoof, 2013), and setting an NCAA record for field goal % (Lisa Murphy, 2017).

  • Performance Training (Speed Agility Strength)
    Our Performance Training starts players with flexibility, mobility, and injury prevention.  We then build strength and explosiveness to create the strongest and most athletic players possible.

     

During the registration process, you will choose your areas of focus, training location, as well as let us know your available days and times.  After you register, we will be in touch to coordinate a training schedule that works for you.
