Coaching/Training Career:
My name is Will Towne and I am from Alexandria, Virginia.
I played high school basketball at Deerfield Academy in Deerfield, Massachusetts. After my career there, I committed to Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I played two incredible seasons at Chatham. After my sophomore season, I transferred to Goucher College in Towson, Maryland, where I played two more seasons and graduated with a degree in psychology.
My freshman year at Chatham, we won our conference championship and earned a berth in the NCAA Tournament, which is the crowning achievement of my basketball career. In the beginning of the season, we were picked to finish dead last in the conference, so coming together with my teammates to win the whole thing was a journey I will never forget. Additionally, playing in the Tournament was a surreal experience, as that was something I had dreamed about since I was a little kid.
I am extremely grateful to have the opportunity to be an Evolution Trainer. I trained with Evolution growing up, and it provided me with an incredible outlet to grow as a player and as a person. I love the fact that we put players first, and I want to do whatever I can to give back to the young players that step into our gym. I pride myself on putting forth my best effort to help players get the most out of their experience with basketball, as well as providing them with the skills to be successful in their off-court endeavors. I love the community that we have cultivated at Evolution, and I am proud to be a part of the EVO family!
